Sponsors

Sponsors keep the analysis, the game review and the puzzles free for everyone. In return, their card is seen by chess players on every page, with numbers anyone can check.

What you get

$19 a month

  • On every page

Your card sits in the sponsor strip under the navbar, on every page of the site.

  • Public, honest numbers

Every impression and click is on a public stats page, counted the same way for every sponsor.

  • Told at every step

Email when we review your card, when it goes live, each month with your numbers, and if anything changes.

  • Monthly, cancel any time

$19 a month. Cancel whenever you like; your card stays up until the month you paid for ends.

  1. 1. Send your card: a name, one line, a link and a logo.
  2. 2. A person reviews it, usually within two working days. Nothing is charged before that.
  3. 3. Once approved, start the monthly payment and your card goes live.

Sponsoring now

No sponsors yet. The first card could be yours.

What we accept

  • Chess products, clubs, coaches, events and content
  • Tools, books, courses and services for a general audience
  • A real product or page behind the link
  • Gambling, betting, adult content or crypto schemes
  • Anything misleading, or that impersonates another brand
  • Links that do not load, or that download a file

We review every card, and every change to a live one, by hand. A card that stops meeting these rules is taken down, and you are told why.

How we count

  • An impression is your card at least half on screen for a full second. It is counted once per page a visitor opens, however long the page stays open.
  • A click is a visitor opening your link from the strip. Repeat clicks by the same visitor within half an hour count once. Links carry utm_source=abackchess.com, so your own analytics can see them too.
  • Crawlers, link previews and other automated visits are left out, and each address is rate-limited. No filter is perfect, so treat the numbers as close, not exact.
  • We store counts per day and nothing about who saw or clicked. Days are UTC.
